To maintain produce's nutritional content and freshness while reducing waste, effective vegetable storage is essential. The Internet of Things (IoT), the Raspberry Pi, and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) are used in this review paper to examine cutting-edge methods for monitoring and preserving vegetable storage quality.A Raspberry Pi serves as the system's central processing unit, which is integrated with a number of sensors including those for temperature, humidity, gas concentration, and ethylene detectors. These sensors continually gather data in real time from the storage environment, giving insightful information about the elements influencing vegetable freshness.A Raspberry Pi camera is also used by the system to take pictures inside the storage facility.Convolutional Neural Networks are developed to analyze the images taken by the Pi camera in order to improve the monitoring capabilities.CNNs are excellent at recognizing images.
