Liliana Colanzi's narrative raises the need to review the classic definition of the realist tradition and provides a new reconfiguration of several non-mimetic narrative models (science fiction/fantastic). In this article I propose to read part of his literature from this critical approach, which allows us to understand the historical processes of the most impoverished Latin American societies, by emphasizing stylistic resources that rest on said novelty and on their aesthetic sense of social effectiveness. The author's narrative world, as will be seen, will be composed of stories collected from the "red note", which she transforms into fantastic events; stories told from a tremendously vital oral tradition, which will lead to areas bordering on Science Fiction; and stories that are part of an "unofficial" and little-evidenced version, which appeal to constitute part of the most tragic and recent political narrative of several Latin American countries.
