The Degree to which Physical Education Teachers employ Educational Competencies from their point of View

This study aimed to find out the degree to which physical education teachers employ educational competencies from their point of view. The descriptive analytical method was used, and to answer the study questions, a questionnaire consisting of (20) items was developed to measure the degree of physical education teachers' employment of educational competencies, and its psychometric properties were verified. The study population consisted of (44) male and female teachers in the Directorate of Education of the Northern AL- Mazar District for the academic year 2021/2022 AD. The study sample consisted of (44) male and female teachers. The results showed that physical education teachers employ educational competencies (the competencies of the planning field, the competencies of the implementation field, the competencies of the teaching strategies field, the competencies of the evaluation field). 3.58) and the rest of the competencies were at an average degree, respectively, for the competencies of the evaluation field, and with an arithmetic mean (3.38). The competencies of the field of planning with an arithmetic average (3.35), and competencies of the implementation field with a mean of (3.32), and in light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended focusing on educational competencies in all areas and through the physical education curriculum that the teacher teaches and for all classes, holding training courses for teachers that would It is concerned with preparing them practically and possessing the necessary competencies to teach physical education curricula. Conducting studies similar to the current study dealing with the viewpoint of educational supervisors, school principals and principals, urging them to possess the necessary educational competencies and teaching skills and developing them, and conducting several studies on comparing the educational competencies of male and female teachers in public schools and other private schools.
