Educational industry has implemented a number of technologies to enhance the processes of teaching as well as learning. One of the most popular computer graphics technologies is augmented reality, and it is being applied in a variety of fields, including education to generate smart environment for learning. With the help of AR, school textbooks can be transformed into 3D environments virtually, which contain animated experiments and objects. Augmented Reality (AR) technology has the immense potential to replace the older way of teaching and learning with a new digitised, futuristic smart learning environment. It allows students to extract complex topics and concepts in less time. The inculcation of AR makes classes more likeable, cooperative, and interesting. This paper illustrated the findings from a set of studies that represent the evidence of increasing students' interest, their motivation, and satisfaction level through the educational environment enriched with AR applications. This study's objective is to identify which AR apps we could use to teach chemistry learning. With this article, the relevant studies present in literature regarding AR are analysed which can be used as a tool to support chemistry learning.
