The article is devoted to the implementation of the principle of transparency and openness of legal proceedings in the context of the development of digital technologies. The author considers the regulatory regulation of the remote participation of a representative of the mass media in a court session. Gaps in legislation and different approaches of courts are noted. It is concluded that it is necessary to expand the forms of interaction with journalists by using technical means of courts that provide online presence.
