This Teaching Paper introduces a structured reflection guide for nonprofit leaders aiming to strengthen resilience within themselves, their teams, and their organizations. Reflection is presented as a strategic leadership competency—an essential process for adaptive learning and sustainable decision-making. The guide offers five dimensions of reflection: personal challenge response, stress management, team contribution, organizational support, and resilience goal-setting. Drawing from research in reflective practice, adaptive leadership, and organizational learning, it provides practical prompts, coaching applications, and case examples. By embedding reflection into leadership routines, nonprofit leaders can enhance self-awareness, foster collective resilience, and create organizational cultures capable of enduring uncertainty and change.
