Genome assembly reveals 15 chromosomal pseudomolecules in Anthocoris nemoralis, indicating its significance in the Darwin Tree of Life project.
<ns3:p>We present a genome assembly from an individual <ns3:italic>Anthocoris nemoralis</ns3:italic> (true bug; Arthropoda; Insecta; Hemiptera; Anthocoridae). The genome sequence has a total length of 301.19 megabases. Most of the assembly (98.17%) is scaffolded into 15 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 18.22 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.</ns3:p>
