Genome assembly reveals two haplotypes in Aradus truncatus, indicating complex chromosomal structures.
<ns3:p>We present a genome assembly from an individual male <ns3:italic>Aradus truncatus</ns3:italic> (flat bug; Arthropoda; Insecta; Hemiptera; Aradidae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 858.63 megabases and 731.58 megabases. Most of haplotype 1 (96.37%) is scaffolded into 15 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X and Y sex chromosomes. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 19.95 kilobases.</ns3:p>
