First person – Tongxiang Chen and Anthi Psoma

First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Journal of Cell Science, helping researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Tongxiang Chen and Anthi Psoma are co-first authors on ‘ Phosphorylation of VAMP3 couples IL-6 exocytosis to dendritic cell activation’, published in JCS. Tongxiang is a PhD student in the lab of Frans Bianchi at University of Groningen, Zernike Campus, Groningen, The Netherlands, investigating antigen (cross)-presentation machinery inside monocyte-derived dendritic cells (moDCs), especially the NY-ESO1 tumor antigen buried inside membranes. Anthi is a PhD student in the lab of Geert van den Bogaart, also at University of Groningen, investigating the interactions between moDCs and T cells.
