Analysis identifies colmatation types and filter zones in in-situ uranium leaching, suggesting effective repair options.
The article discusses the types of colmatation of filters and filter zones of process wells of in-situ uranium leaching. The classification of types of colmatation at the stages of well construction and operation is given. On the basis of the work performed and the analysis of the results of geophysical studies, the sizes of the zones of colmatation with clayey solution of sands of various granulometric were established. Various options for working on the decolmatation of filters and filter zones are considered. Recommendations are given for choosing the most options for repair and restoration work.
