This method enhances removal of asphaltic resinous sediments in production wells, suggesting significant improvements in well maintenance.
The paper is about better removal of asphaltic resinous sediments and deposits, after production well bottom-hole zone acid treatment, with in-situ CO2 generation. A new combined treatment method is developed and proposed, for better removal of colmatating asphaltic resinous sediments and deposits. Method novelty is that, after injection of gas releasing agent, especially selected aromatic hydrocarbon solvent, or such solvent mixture, are additionally injected into the well.
