Experimental analysis shows optimal parameters for ultrasonic cleaning in immersion washers, indicating improved efficiency.
High-quality cleaning when activating the washing liquid by ultrasonic action depends on optimal values of the parameters characterizing the technological regime of the process. In an experimental study of the effectiveness of the intensified cleaning process, an immersion washer was used, which is a bath with a basket rotating in a detergent solution, equipped with two immersion ultrasound sources mounted on its walls. An aqueous solution of Labomid-203 technical detergent was used to clean the filter elements. Experimental studies of the effect of the parameters and regimes of the cleaning process on its effectiveness were carried out at temperatures of a detergent solution of 40, 50, 60 and 70 °C, detergent concentrations in the solution of 5, 10, 15 and 20 g / l, duration of cleaning 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 min, frequencies ultrasonic vibrations of 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 kHz, ultrasonic vibration intensity of 1, 2, 3 and 4 W / cm2. The quality of cleaning the filter elements from contamination was assessed by the weight method. The range of optimal values of the parameters of the technological regime of the process of intensified purification of filter elements was determined experimentally: the oscillation frequency was 30 kHz, the oscillation intensity was 3 W / cm2, the detergent concentration in the solution was 14-17 g / l, the temperature of the detergent solution was 50-55 °C and the cleaning duration was 10 minutes. The assumption of the expediency of using ultrasound to activate the washing liquid during the intensification of immersion cleaning has been confirmed.
