This theoretical exploration defines the code of ethics and integrity principles for academic communities, highlighting their role in professional conduct.
The code of ethics and professional deontology in the university environment is a document, a component that completes the University Charter. It basically represents a moral contract between the members of the academic community, which is focused on specific principles of professional and moral conduct. Ethics is centered on the aspects of moral human relations and common coexistence. Ethics has as fundamental elements activities and actions based on moral norms. The ethical value is found in the quality of collective and individual actions and interactions. For the first part, we aimed to present a set of theoretical concepts and to provide a synthetic exposition of the values and principles that govern the academic university environment.
