Bibliometric analysis highlights optimization approaches in agri-food supply chains, suggesting future research directions.
The primary objectives of this study are to review and visualize the literature on sustainable agri-food supply chain optimization approaches from 2000 to 2024, offering insights and directions for future research. The analysis is based on data extracted from 131 papers sourced from Scopus and Web of Science. A bibliometric analysis was conducted to assess influential studies across various dimensions, including journals, countries, authors, and keywords. This process involved several stages: data acquisition, preprocessing, and bibliometric assessments using VOSviewer and Biblioshiny. These comprehensive analyses provide scholars and practitioners with a thorough understanding of current research trends and highlight potential topics for future exploration.
