International meeting highlighted community impact in energy, showcasing mentors and groundbreaking research.
The Fifth International Meeting for Applied Geoscience and Energy (IMAGE ’25), held 25 to 28 August at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, was more than a gathering, it was a celebration of resilience and progress for the SEG Foundation. Despite the challenges faced in the past year, the Foundation and its community emerged stronger, united in purpose and vision. Throughout the event, vivid images from key moments captured the energy of the conference: students presenting groundbreaking research, mentors and mentees connecting, the annual SEG Foundation Donor Luncheon, and the excitement of showcasing this year’s impact and thanking our supporters. These snapshots, together with the recognition of outstanding contributors, underscored a year of impact and confidence for the road ahead.
