The paper presents grounds for a systematic lithmological classification of the Krasnoleninskii Arch sediments. There are three regional procyclites. From bottom to top these are: Sherkalinskii, Pal’yanovskii, and Kalmanovskii. Several zonal cyclites of the same type are recognized in each of them. The productive and potentially productive sandstone horizons were correlated with the cyclite basal layers.
