Pre-transplant MRD negativity predicts favorable outcomes of CAR-T therapy for pediatirc relapsed and Refractory Acute lymphoblastic leukemia followed by TCRαβ-depleted haplo-HSCT
This research aimed to examine the role of MRD negativity in the outcomes of CAR-T therapy followed by TCRαβ-depleted haplo-HSCT in pediatric patients with relapsed and refractory acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Enrolled 65 pediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia for TCRαβ-depleted haplo-HSCT.
Administered CAR-T treatment and assessed MRD status pre-HSCT using flow cytometry.
Utilized a fully myeloablative preparative regimen including Cyclophosphamide and Thiotepa.
Final engraftment achieved in 64/65 patients with a 7.9% translate related mortality rate.
Overall survival rate was 90.1% and leukemia-free survival rate was 83.2%.
The cumulative incidence of relapse was 9.5% with five patients relapsing.
