Archaeological monitoring uncovered graves and pottery in an ancient burial site, indicating past disturbances.
Excavation for two cable trenches and a joinery pit was monitored. Eight inhumation graves and an additional skull were revealed. Four burials were left in situ and the others reburied close to their original positions. A single sherd of late medieval pottery was associate with one grave but does not necessarily provide reliable dating. Disturbance from previous drains and services has affected several graves.
