Results for paper 'Exploring Internal and External Drivers of Hydrogen Deployment in the Energy Transition'

This Zenodo record provides the visualization notebook and a curated subset of model outputs for the year 2050, corresponding to the paper "Exploring Internal and External Drivers of Hydrogen Deployment in the Energy Transition. " To keep file sizes manageable, the repository includes only selected 2050 results. The full dataset covering 2025–2050 (approximately 350 GB) is available from the authors upon request. The notebook reproduces the key figures in the main text and selected figures in the appendix, supporting transparency and partial reproducibility. To enable exact numerical inspection beyond the spatial patterns shown in the figures, the repository also includes supplementary tables for all scenarios and modeled years (one sheet per pathway): (i) annual hydrogen production values underlying Figure 2, and (ii) annual hydrogen marginal prices for all countries underlying Figure 3c. Hydrogen prices are provided in both EUR/MWh (model units) and EUR/kg H₂ (converted using an LHV of 33. 3 kWh/kg) to facilitate comparison with the hydrogen-cost literature.
