Abstract This article examines educational partnerships between public libraries and schools in Germany, focusing on North Rhine-Westphalia. It demonstrates how cooperation enhances reading promotion, media, and information literacy, and digital education. Case studies and structural frameworks highlight that library-school partnerships contribute to educational equity and represent a forward-looking model for integrating formal and non-formal education.
