Ceramic samples demonstrate improved dielectric properties and thermal stability, suggesting advancements in capacitor materials.
Ceramic samples of the (1-x)BT-xPbFe2/3W1/3O3 ((1-x)BT-xPFW), x = 0-0.15 system as well as samples of this system with additives of low-melting glass-forming components Pb5Ge3O11 (PGO) and Na2B4O7 (NBO) - (1-x)BT • xPFW) + y wt.% PGO + z wt.% NBO, x = 0-0.10, y, z = 0-8 were synthesized in order to develop new dielectric capacitor materials based on barium titanate BaTiO3 (BT) with increased thermal stability of dielectric permittivity е and reduced sintering temperature (TS) of ceramics. X-ray diffraction phase analysis showed that the predominant phase in the synthesized samples are solid solutions with a perovskite structure. The temperature-frequency dependences of the dielectric permittivity е(Т f) and the tangent of the dielectric loss angle tanS(T, f) were studied, and it was found that the additives PFW, PGO, and NBO shift the Curie point TC to room temperature, causing a blurring of the peak on the dependence e(T, f) and an increase in thermal stability e, they lower the TS to 1300 oC (PFW), 1100 oC (PFW + PGO), 960 oC (PFW + PGO + NBO). Ceramics with x = 0.085, y = 5, and z = 3 are characterized in the room temperature range by high e (> 1000), low tanS (< 0.02), and high thermal stability (Ae/e < 15%), as well as a relatively low TS (960 oC), which makes it promising for creating multilayer high-capacity capacitors with relatively cheap interlayer electrodes with low-melting internal electrodes of the Ag type or Ag/Pd alloys.
