ABSTRACT Over the past few decades, click chemistry has established 1,2,3‐triazoles as versatile and indispensable scaffolds in modern organic synthesis, drug discovery, polymer science, supramolecular chemistry, bioconjugation, fluorescent imaging, materials science, and chemical biology. Their modular synthesis, exceptional stability, and broad functionalization capacity make them particularly valuable in medicinal chemistry, nanotechnology, and catalysis. This review systematically presents recent synthetic advances toward 1,2,3‐triazole derivatives, encompassing both conventional and emerging strategies such as strain‐promoted, metal‐catalyzed, metal‐free, microwave‐assisted, ultrasonic, green, and ionic liquid‐mediated protocols. For clarity, the synthetic methodologies are also summarized in tabular form. Furthermore, we provide a comparative assessment of environmental impact, scalability, selectivity, and reaction efficiency, offering critical insights into sustainable and high‐precision triazole synthesis. The review underscores major breakthroughs, identifies persisting challenges, and outlines future directions, serving as a comprehensive roadmap for researchers in academia and industry alike.
