We propose a new geometric mechanism, based on a torsional non-relaxation response of spacetime, that can reproduce several cosmic anomalies without introducing new degrees of freedom. Within the Einstein–Cartan–Sciama–Kibble formalism, torsion arises as a constitutive effect of delayed geometric relaxation, leading to effective departures from Levi-Civita geometry at cosmological scales. Using DESI Early Data Release observations, we detect a statistically significant correlation (ρ = 0. 203, p < 10⁻⁵⁰) between environment and expansion residuals, consistent with the proposed TIDE model. This preprint includes all theoretical derivations, empirical results, and predictions for falsifiability. The supplementary dataset and analysis scripts are provided in the attached file SupplementaryDataᵥ34. zip for full reproducibility.
