Keeping employees committed over the long term is one of the toughest challenges faced by organizations today. Positive psychology can serve as a useful tool in addressing this challenge. To examine the relationship between positive psychology and employee retention, this article conducted a systematic literature review (SLR) of 91 peer-reviewed articles. The research employed the SPAR-4-SLR method in the process of the literature search and examination. Based on SLR, the research reveals the needs and areas for future research study based on theoretical and methodological approaches. Analyzing the antecedents, events, and consequences of employee well-being, the research builds the conceptual framework of the influence of factors related to employee well-being and employee retention. The result indicates that employee well-being, including areas related to job satisfaction, leadership support, and work–life balance, can result in employee retention. The article continues with implications that may be achieved with the implementation of these approaches related to employee well-being in the organization and result in favorable outcomes for the HR manager and managerial activities.
