Objective. To study the epidemiological, clinical, and demographic features of multiple sclerosis (MS) in the Krasnoyarsk Krai. Material and methods. The study object was the medical charts of patients diagnosed with MS living in the Krasnoyarsk Krai and followed up in the Center for Multiple Sclerosis and Other Autoimmune Diseases (Center for MS and OAID) of the Regional Clinical Hospital. The cohort of patients included in the prevalence study was 1466 subjects registered in the regional segment of the Federal Register of Persons with Multiple Sclerosis as of 01/01/2025;the incidence study cohort included 60 newly diagnosed patients in the Center for MS and OAID in 2024. The cohort of patients for the demographic and clinical data evaluation included 1241 patients, regularly (at least once every 6 months) assessed at the Center for MS and OAID from the Center’s establishment (06/15/2023) to 01/01/2025. Results. The prevalence of MS in the Krasnoyarsk Krai in 2024 was 51.3 per 100.000 people, and the incidence of MS was 2.1 per 100.000 people. Most patients had relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis; the majority were females of a young age. Median EDSS was 3 2;5 points. Conclusion. In the Krasnoyarsk Krai, for the first time, a study was conducted to assess the clinical, demographic, and epidemiological features of MS, which in the future will help to assess the trends and conduct a comparative analysis of the epidemiological characteristics of MS in the Krasnoyarsk Krai.
