A case report documents a rare ovarian tumor occurring during pregnancy, highlighting clinical management implications.
Juvenile-type granulosa cell tumors (JGCT) of the ovary are extremely rare. Most of them occur in premenarchal girls. The occurrence of JGCT in an adult, particularly during pregnancy, is very rare. Only 12 cases of JGCT have been reported during pregnancy in the last three decades in the literature review. We report one such case of JGCT in a 28-year-old pregnant woman and its management during pregnancy, along with a review of the literature.
