Case report demonstrates effective diagnosis and treatment of scrotal nodules, indicating improved quality of life.
A BSTRACT Idiopathic scrotal calcinosis is a rare disorder presenting with firm and painless nodules on the scrotal skin. The pathogenesis remains controversial, and the condition is typically asymptomatic, though it may cause aesthetic concerns. Diagnosis is confirmed through histopathological examination, and treatment involves surgical excision of the lesions. Scrotal calcinosis, though rare, can significantly affect a patient’s quality of life due to cosmetic concerns. Surgical excision provides both a diagnostic and therapeutic solution with favorable outcomes. This case highlights the importance of recognizing scrotal calcinosis in the differential diagnosis of scrotal nodules and underscores the positive impact of surgical treatment on both aesthetic and psychological well-being.
