Demonstrates reduced current stress in isolated AC-DC matrix converters, highlighting control strategy effectiveness.
The isolated AC-DC matrix converter (IAMC) achieves bidirectional energy transfer through phase-shifted control, but existing control schemes suffer from excessive current stress. This paper proposes an asymmetric three-phase shift control strategy combined with asymmetric duty modulation (ADM) to reduce the peak-to-peak value of inductor current. Firstly, based on ADM and three-phase shift control, the principle diagram of the asymmetric three-phase shift control strategy is generated. Secondly a mathematical model of inductor current is established, and the steadystate characteristics are derived in time domain. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified through simulations.
