This research develops a contactless damping system for a magnetically suspended body with 3-DOF stabilization. Using AC resonant magnetic suspension, power is wirelessly transferred to floator coils, generating a restoring force. AC power in floator coils is rectified and supplied to damping coils, inducing eddy currents for vibration suppression.
