Comparative research evaluates UK anti-money laundering strategies in Ukraine, suggesting improvements.
This comparative scientific research analyzes the experience of the United Kingdom in developing and implementing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) systems, evaluating its strategic application to the Ukrainian anti-corruption framework. The study explores mechanisms of inter-agency coordination, advanced tools for asset freezing and confiscation, and platforms for public-private information exchange. Special attention is given to the adaptation of the UK's strategic approaches and the implementation of the EU Directive 2015/849 into the national legislation of Ukraine. The research provides a foundational methodology for integrating advanced European financial monitoring standards and combating illicit financial flows.
