Analysis examines kimberlite composition in Yakutia, suggesting effective mapping techniques for rock varieties.
Characteristics of petrochemical composition of kimberlite rocks of the Zapolyarnaya and Novinka pipes have been considered. Endo- and exogenous factors are shown to exert a great influence on composition of kimberlites. Analysis of the content distribution of major petrogenetic components in the pipe plan testifies to the possibility of petrochemical mapping of the selected varieties of rocks.
