This article was presented as part of the artistic project "Accordion + Electronics BIP," organized by the Department of Organ, Harpsichord, Accordion, Guitar, Harp, and Instruments of the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk. Delivered in English on April 20, 2024, in the Senate Hall of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk. The article addresses the interaction of a musician (in this case, the accordionist) with the electronic layer of a composition – presenting this issue in a broad context, also giving voice to the accordionists themselves. The accordion is presented as a model example of differences in the perception of an instrument's sound, and the issue of sound perception in electroacoustic music is also discussed, particularly with the participation of a live instrument. A separate chapter is devoted to the question of how accordionists themselves perceive their role in electroacoustic music.
