Design and Implementation of an Automated Web Application Testing Framework using Playwright

This research presents the design and implementation of an automated web application testing framework using Playwright. The framework automates functional testing of a real-world web application, including authentication, user management, and course management modules. Experimental evaluation demonstrated a significant improvement in testing efficiency, reducing execution time from 18 minutes in manual testing to 42 seconds using automation, achieving a 96% performance improvement. The results confirm that Playwright provides a reliable, scalable, and efficient solution for modern web application testing.
