Heritage Impact Statement: Analysis of The Setting of Nearby Heritage Assets Connaught Square, Digbeth Land between High Street Deritend, Stone Yard, Birchall Street, Bradford Street and Rea Street

Assessment of the impact of proposed works on the Historic Environment. The Application conforms to this and creates a new key view of the conservation area. It noted that views of the spire of St Anne's Roman Catholic Church along the High Street will be lost. It is noted that there are numerous public benefits from the scheme which are outlined in the Planning and Design and Access Statement. As the impact on Heritage Assets is less than substantial in all eventualities any harm caused to the Heritage Assets is outweighed by the Heritage and other public benefits.
