Research shows endocannabinoid system regulates neural circuits and cellular proliferation, suggesting implications for oncogenic escape.
The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a domain-general biological Pe control architecture operating at two scales: neural circuit (millisecond-to-second retrograde synaptic suppression via DSI/DSE) and cellular proliferation (hours-to-days oncogenic suppression via ceramide pathway). At both scales the mechanism is structurally isomorphic — demand-driven α-correction triggered by Pe excess, failing into T4 runaway when CB receptor expression is removed. CB1 knockout data confirms the neural scale prediction; CB1/CB2 downregulation in aggressive tumors confirms the cellular scale. THC is analyzed as uniform α-suppression that destroys spatial Pe gradients.
