Bulletins cover archaeological activities in 2001, featuring talks and new artifacts from various sites.
These are the 2001 Pacific Northwest Archaeological Society (PNWAS) News Bulletins with activities of the society for that year. In 2001 we had talks on the archaeology of the Fraser River, Reindeer Herders in Northern Russia and South Pacific archaeology, and featured lots of new wood and fiber and bone/shell artifacts from the Mud Bay/Qwu?gwes archaeological wet site in Olympia with South Puget Sound Community College and the Squaxin Island Tribe. Members were invited to volunteer and several spent considerable time with us over the next years of excavation.
