Key Points

  • The aim is to evaluate a game-based digital therapeutic intervention for children with ADHD, focusing on self-regulation and impulse control.
  • Developed a game-based intervention targeting ADHD symptoms.
  • Aligned content with assessment instruments.
  • Conducted preliminary evaluation of the intervention effects.
  • Indications of improvements in self-regulation and impulse control.
  • Need for further confirmation through larger multisite studies.

Abstract

These findings preliminarily indicate that ADHD digital intervention content aligned with assessment instrument targets may be associated with improvements in the intended therapeutic domains. Confirmatory evaluation in larger, longer, multisite studies, including teacher ratings and academic and social functioning outcomes, is warranted.
