Analysis reveals gaps in support services for women survivors of violence, indicating urgent need for unified classification and accessibility improvements.
This analysis maps rehabilitation and reintegration services within the social welfare system intended for women survivors of violence in the Republic of Serbia, as well as services available to the general population in which women victims of violence are recognized as a priority category or may otherwise benefit from. The research was conducted at both local and national level through a systematic review of legal regulations and decisions on social protection rights and services. Documents were collected and analyzed for 118 out of 174 local self-government units in Serbia. The analysis highlights the absence of a unified service classification system, unequal geographical accessibility, and the limited availability of specialized support services.
