Abstract There is an interest in soybean oil enriched with oleic acid and reduced linolenic acid to improve oil functionality. The soybean breeding program at the University of Missouri‐Fisher Delta Research, Extension, and Education Center has developed and released soybean Glycine max ( L.) Merr . ‘ S18PR‐190 HOLL’ (Reg. no. CV‐567, PI 708613). It is a conventional non‐genetically modified (non‐GM) maturity group IV (relative maturity 4.8) soybean cultivar averaging 80.2% oleic acid and 2.3% linolenic acid. S18PR‐190 HOLL was evaluated in 38 environments across six states from 2019 to 2022. It yielded 99% of the check means across 25 environments without off‐target exposure to the herbicide dicamba. However, it averaged 16% lower yield versus the overall check means at 13 locations with significant off‐target dicamba injury. S18PR‐190 HOLL is resistant to multiple diseases, including soybean cyst nematode (SCN) ( Heterodera glycines Ichinohe) races 2 (HG type 1.2.5.7), 3 (HG type 0) and 5 (HG type 2.5.7), and stem canker (SC) ( Diaporthe aspalathi Jansen, Castlebury& Crous). Because of its high‐oleic acid, low linolenic acid content, disease resistance, and competitive yield potential, S18PR‐190 HOLL can be an excellent soybean cultivar for farmers to potentially maximize profits by receiving a premium price for its non‐GM seed oil fatty acid profile.
