Multicenter propensity-matched study shows bridging therapy enhances functional outcomes in medium-large core stroke, suggesting benefits without increasing risks.
Our study suggests that bridging therapy in patients with acute medium-large ischemic core within 4.5 hours of onset results in better functional outcomes than EVT alone without increasing the sICH rate. Further studies are required to assess the safety and efficacy of bridging therapy.
