This analysis reveals significant cultural variations in ethical challenges of AI in higher education, highlighting data privacy and algorithmic biases.
The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within higher education has given rise to substantial ethical concerns and challenges, including concerns regarding data privacy, equity in educational resources, and algorithmic biases. These factors have the potential to compromise the integrity of academic processes. In light of this, the study aims to analyse the perceptions of students and faculty members about the ethical challenges associated with the use of AI in universities. The study revealed significant variations in ethical perceptions across cultural clusters. The findings highlight the importance of understanding cultural perceptions when integrating AIT in higher education.
