Abstract:Driven by the dual forces of the digital economy and industrial upgrading, small and medium-sized enterprises are facing the dual pressures of rising human resource costs and insufficient efficiency. Technological innovation, as a core means to address this dilemma, can not only reduce operational costs through digital tools but also stimulate employee value through the innovation of management models. Based on the resource-based theory and innovation theory, combined with the characteristics of SMEs, this paper analyzes the mechanism of technological innovation on human resource costs and efficiency. By dissecting the pain points in current practices through typical cases, it finally proposes path strategies from three dimensions: tool application, process reconstruction, and organizational transformation. This study aims to provide a reference for SMEs to achieve the coordinated development of "cost reduction" and "efficiency improvement".
