The article examines key vectors of external and internal impact on legal education amid contemporary societal transformations and identifies legal boundaries for borrowing harmonizing educational models. It addresses the risks of excessive internationalization and standardization that may undermine the methodological integrity of educational pathways and diminish the quality of professional competence formation. The study substantiates the role of state legal policy in maintaining a balance between international comparability of qualifications and the preservation of national legal identity, legal culture, and the stability of the legal order. It concludes that foreign instruments should be applied selectively, while priority should be given to developing a balanced national model of legal education.
