Analysis reveals factors influencing customer trust in unbranded products, suggesting improvements for sellers.
Customer trust plays an important role in purchasing unbranded products in local markets. Many customers prefer unbranded products because they are affordable and easily available. However, the level of trust towards these products depends on several factors such as price, quality, seller behaviour and previous purchase experience. The main objective of this study is to analyse the factors influencing customer trust towards unbranded products in local markets with special reference to Tirupur City. The study is based on primary data collected from 101 respondents using a structured questionnaire. The collected data has been analysed using simple percentage analysis and interpreted accordingly. The findings of the study help to understand the level of customer trust and the factors influencing the purchase of unbranded products. The study also provides useful suggestions for local sellers to improve customer trust and customer satisfaction
