Clinical application shows improved diagnosis and treatment of non-small cell lung cancer, indicating future potential for precision medicine.
As an emerging non-invasive technology,¹⁸F-FDG PET/CT radiomics has significantly improved the precision diagnosis and treatment of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)by quantitatively analyzing the metabolic and anatomical characteristics of tumors. In recent years,¹⁸F-FDG PET/CT radiomics has been employed to distinguish benign and malignant pulmonary nodules and predict pathological subtypes, genetic phenotypes, tumor stages, and prognosis of NSCLC.Although there are still challenges in the interpretation of biological mechanisms of radiomics, artificial intelligence and large-sample multi-center research facilitate the application of radiomics in the precision diagnosis and treatment of NSCLC,which demonstrates broad prospects.Radiomics is expected to become an important auxiliary tool for clinical decision-making in the future.
