Proposes a reinterpretation of CMB and BAO features in a living universe model, suggesting alternative cosmic dynamics without a Big Bang.
The acoustic peak hierarchy in the CMB temperature anisotropy power spectrum and the baryon acoustic oscillation feature in large-scale galaxy clustering are widely treated as fossil signatures of pressure oscillations in a tightly coupled photon-baryon plasma prior to recombination. This paper proposes that both features reflect a dynamic equilibrium of ongoing shell-like and ripple-like astrophysical processes in the living, infinite, eternal universe of the Big Flare-Up Theory, without invoking a singular Big Bang origin. The master equation dP(k,t)/dt = I(k,t) -D(k,t)P(k,t) governs the balance between ongoing power injection and scale-dependent damping. Shell geometry naturally generates oscillatory [sin(kR)/(kR)]^2 Fourier-space structure. Thomson scattering with sigma_T = 6.6524 x 10^-29 m^2 and diffusion-like Silk-type damping operate continuously in present ionised media, weakening the uniqueness claim of the frozen recombination interpretation. A proof-of-principle simulation generates three CMB-like acoustic peaks at l approximately 218, 411, and 595, and a BAO-like correlation bump at approximately 135 Mpc, without any primordial initial condition. The BAO scale of approximately 490 million light years is shown to be a model-dependent inference relying on the assumed FLRW expansion history. Four falsifiable predictions are presented, of which the CMB-SFR cross-correlation is testable with CMB-S4. Simulation code: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.19124365.
