This research aims to explore the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture combined with rehabilitation training in improving walking function for ischemic stroke patients.
106 ischemic stroke patients were selected and randomly divided into two groups: observation group and control group.
The control group received conventional rehabilitation training; the observation group received both rehabilitation training and electroacupuncture.
Both groups underwent continuous treatment for 8 weeks, assessing walking ability, balance, and daily living activities before and after treatment.
After 8 weeks of treatment, the observation group showed significantly better functional assessment scores compared to the control group.
The effective rate in the observation group was notably higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05).
Statistically significant differences were observed between groups in various functional indicators (P < 0.05).
