This investigation reveals the harmonic spectrum related to circular magnetization in Co-rich microwires, suggesting the impact of current excitation.
Co-based amorphous microwires exhibit a unique circular magnetic structure and a strongly non-linear process of circular magnetization reversal through current excitation. The resulting voltage signal consists of higher-order harmonics of the excitation source and can be detected with high sensitivity. This output signal reflects the nonlinearities of circular magnetization as a function of current, varying in response to external stimuli that influence this relationship. This paper investigates the circular magnetization process and associated harmonic spectrum in Co66.6Fe4.28B11.51Si14.48Ni1.44Mo1.69 amorphous glass-coated microwires under the influence of an axial DC magnetic field and in the presence of Ba-hexaferrite particles.
