Automated assessment systems improve quiz creation and evaluation in digital learning environments, indicating effective teaching support.
There is a growing need for automated assessment systems that can effectively develop and evaluate tests due to the growing use of digital learning platforms. Teachers must put in a lot of physical labour to prepare traditional quizzes, which makes it time-consuming and challenging to scale for big learning environments. This study suggests an intelligent system that uses large language models to automatically create and assess multiple-choice tests. The suggested solution automatically creates quiz questions from instructional materials like PDF files by integrating the LangChain framework with the Google Gemini Large Language Model. The system generates context-aware multiple-choice questions and response alternatives by extracting textual information from the submitted documents and processing it using LangChain, which communicates with the Gemini model. Users can upload study materials, create quizzes, try questions, and have their answers automatically evaluated through a web-based interface created with the Django framework. The system offers an effective platform for automated assessment and keeps quiz results in a database. The findings of the experiment show that the suggested method can produce contextually relevant and meaningful questions while lessening the effort of teachers and increasing the effectiveness of quiz creation in online learning settings.
