This study investigated the factors determining library cooperation and implications for service delivery in Lagos State University Library, Lagos, Nigeria. It adopted correlational research design, with a population of forty- ninety (49) library staff. The total enumeration sampling technique was employed to study the entire population since it was small, accessible and manageable. A two set of the researcher’s self-developed-structured questionnaires were used for data collection. The data collection process yielded 92% response rate. The data collected were analysed using Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation (PPMC) coefficient, while the null hypotheses were tested with the use of simple linear regression at 0.05 level of significance. The findings revealed library leadership, librarians’ competence and management commitment as the factors determining library cooperation to a low extent have positive significant relationships with service delivery in the Lagos State University Library. It concluded that library corporation has a positive significant relationship with service delivery in the university library. It recommended that management of university libraries should improve their commitment and demonstrate effective leadership through training and retraining library staff to take active part in implementing strategic practices such as library cooperation in order to improve service delivery in the university libraries.
